Its been a while since I’ve posted, but due to some serious RSI problems I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Its January again, and that can only mean internet ninjas, bad vibes and dark days. The snow was great, but the forecast for complaining was something I could have done without.

We’ve just had a major event in the DJ/Tech calendar in the form of Winter NAMM 2010.

The most interesting of this (for me) was the announcement of new products from both Serato and Ableton.

The video I’ve posted is an internet collaboration that I thought was really clever -- And sounds great too. This whole technology things is starting to get interesting, I’m looking forward to seeing how this international jamming evolves!

Everything is late in January due to me being a lazy sod, but the people who’ve requested CD’s should get them by next week. I’m posting them tomorrow. Sorry for the wait, and I hope you enjoy them!

Just incase you didnt know, Ableton have released their second bugfix for Live/Suite. 8.0.2 is now available for download from the main website, or by pressing the ‘Check For Updates’ button from the help menu from within Live.  Now they’ve fixed the library I might get some work done

The podcast seems to have worked (on the second attempt I’ll admit) and now if you search for me on iTunes you should find me there. How full of wonder. Insert another smiley here.

Thanks to everyone who subscribed, there should be more to come soon – I have 30 days to do something else or I have to go through the signing up process again. Good for you, I hear you say.

Last but not least, (as I’ve turned this in to an update) over the last week I’ve thrown myself in to the new Ableton Suite 8. Its massive. I love it. I’m still pretty much garbage at making music. A result in itself though I feel!

Now its time to eat home made soup and climb the mountain of dishes. Add me on Twitter, its where Diddy hangs out so it must be cool. LETS GO!!! lol

I just found out a friend of mine is releasing his first album. You should check him and his project out. Maybe you already have? Anyway, I’m more than feeling his track ‘Whiz Bang Scienze’. They turned the neck breaker on when they set the groove. 1000names is what they answer to and they’re on Eklektik Records out of France. Check the myspace for gigs, they’re every where at the minute! Good luck with it guys!

For years people have tried to get Scratch Live and Ableton Live working together, and while they can, its not that straight forward.

I’ve just read on the Serato website that they’ve now become friends, so hopefully there should be some kind of new plug on its way!
