Serato Scratch Live 1.9 Release

Serato have finally released version 1.9. I caught on to this last night, but I went to bed in the excitement of it all forgot to post about it. Here’s a quick run-down of all the new shit it does. Don’t think I’ll be using any of it though, what kind of DJ do you take me for?

I’ve used the Serato Scratch Live program for over 3 years now. I use it for DJing. It gets a few dodgy looks here and there – it probably looks like I’m watching a DVD or checking my emails during a gig. Bedroom DJ’s like to talk down to me during gigs because they think it does magical things like auto-mixing etc. The same idiots people claim I should still be using vinyl. More >

I’m going through a spring cleaning phase. Yesterday (or sometime else) I signed up to Twitter. Its quite catching, actually. I’m looking in to a way of integrating that, Myspace and some stuff from Google. If I can update it all from one place that would be awsome. Less is more.
I’m also doing some minor updates to this website. To make it better and stuffs. As well as all of this, I’ve taken on the mamoth task of re-doing my music library.
